Version 2.08
- Added a couple of things to help eliminate duplicates
- in People, the Possible Duplicates link now includes a process to remove the duplicates from the list.
- There is a new pop up on the right side of the list of possible duplicates.
- Only one record will 'survive'. That's the person you mark as "to".
- Any other matching names should be marked with the "from" choice.
- After clicking "Submit" you'll get the list of people selected and you can confirm the update
- This time, clicking submit merges the records.
- All enrollments, payments, purchases, etc. for the people records going away are relinked to the surviving person record.
- Any fields that are only filled out in the person record going away that isn't in the surviving record is copied over to the surviving record.
- The non-surviving record is deleted.
- When adding a person you'll be told if there are other people with the same first and last name. If there are you can see the
list of matching people.
