• 3D Printing
  3D printing, or additive manufacturing, is the construction for a three-dimensional object from a CAD model or digital 3D model. Join us for an enriching and fun learning session to understand the basics of 3D printing. In this 8 week online course, the students will learn 3D modeling and printing, converting images to 3D models, and critical basic concepts. The course will uncover the core processed behind 3D printing and reveal one of the most powerful capabilities of the 3D printing revolution - that it's accessible to anyone. *Note: You do NOT require a 3D printer to enroll in this course. We teach simulation of 3D objects and we can get it printed and shipped to you if you are interested. We have an option of a wide range of ages to join the course as we would like to give an opportunity for every student who did not have a chance to learn to code. With that said, when grouping students we go by age and skill level to make sure they progress well in the program. We try to maintain 1:6 teacher to student ratio. (more information...)

  Do you like to tell jokes, recite your favorite Shel Silverstein poem, tell your favorite stories, like "Caps for Sale", or "The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything"? Maybe you want to convince your parents to buy you a hamster, or tell about your BFF, your pet or your favorite grandparent. Do you like comedy or drama? You can do all this through "speech" or better known as "public speaking." This enrichment program will help you get rid of your jitters, shaky knees, and sweaty palms when you have to do presentations in your classroom.   Fun with Programming - Animation & Whack-a-Mole with JavaScript Have fun learning how to write computer programs! Students will learn the fundamentals of computer programming using the very popular language JavaScript, and will be able to immediately see the results of their code. Choose between 2 different projects in this class: Animation with JavaScript - Write code to create dynamic, animated digital art and web pages with images, shapes, sounds, and text. Stories and adventures will come to life when pictures are animated and sound effects are added! Whack-a-Mole Game with JavaScript - Create a carnival game, Whack-a-Mole, which will run in a web browser and utilize images, shapes, sound effects, and text. • Artificial Intelligence Workshop
  AI is the future, and Gen Z must be prepared for it. At EASE, we want to make AI education accessible to our Gen Z population. The fundamentals AI course will define basic concepts in the field of AI, describe functions of AI, apply principles of coding to demonstrate understanding of AI concepts, and evaluate applications of AI technologies.   Go online with Bay Area Chess! We are proud to continue with our Online Enrichment, live on Zoom!   In this program, we share the wonder and challenge of solving the 2x2 and 3x3 Rubik's cube with a competitive cuber who has participated in "Speed-Solving" cube competitions across the Bay Area with world champions like Max Park and Feliks Zemdegs. Our goal is to make learning how to solve the Rubik's cube fun and exciting.   The Burlingame Piano Group is open to students in grades K-3rd. Learn piano in a fun social group atmosphere! Group piano class provides students an excellent introduction to the keyboard and prepares them for more serious private study, as well as playing in a band/ensemble.   This course is for the explorer who wants to travel the world training to be a future secret agent. The class will highlight geography, history, and culture as we explore destinations such as Italy, South Africa, France, and Japan. Agents will complete games, puzzles, and riddles to fulfill each mission. Imagination will flow as each team develops a new gadget to add to the agent tool box. The course will focus on problem solving, collaboration, and strategy to fulfill each mission. Additionally, a prerecorded video will be available for our families who want to follow along. Have your junior chef expand on their cooking-from-home experience.   Kids can have fun and learn skills of strategy and team building while playing Minecraft. The Minecraft Course allows the students to work on a secure server and with only students attending the class. They will use command blocks, red stones, and more to create Adventure Maps, missions, or games. We provide logins required. Have you always wanted to be in a play or musical but you haven't known how to go about it? This is your chance to learn about professional, regional and community theater while picking up the skills needed to audition and get that part. The trick is "being prepared".
