• 3D Printing
  3D printing, or additive manufacturing, is the construction for a three-dimensional object from a CAD model or digital 3D model. Join us for an enriching and fun learning session to understand the basics of 3D printing. In this 8 week online course, the students will learn 3D modeling and printing, converting images to 3D models, and critical basic concepts. The course will uncover the core processed behind 3D printing and reveal one of the most powerful capabilities of the 3D printing revolution - that it's accessible to anyone. *Note: You do NOT require a 3D printer to enroll in this course. We teach simulation of 3D objects and we can get it printed and shipped to you if you are interested. We have an option of a wide range of ages to join the course as we would like to give an opportunity for every student who did not have a chance to learn to code.   AI is the future, and Gen Z must be prepared for it. At EASE, we want to make AI education accessible to our Gen Z population. The fundamentals AI course will define basic concepts in the field of AI, describe functions of AI, apply principles of coding to demonstrate understanding of AI concepts, and evaluate applications of AI technologies. Our goal is to make learning AI fun through emphasis on the non-technical components of learning, combining art and multimedia.   Everyone can draw cartoons with a few simple techniques. This cartooning class will enable students to conceptualize and produce an original cartoon character and its background. Students will learn how to create their own cartoon characters with front, side, and back profiles. Shibori cloth dyeing is a traditional Japanese hand-dyeing technique that uses an infinite number of ways to compress cloth to achieve dynamic, fascinating patterns. Tie dye is a method used to produce dyed patterns on cloth by tying parts of the cloth to shield it from dye. Students will get hands-on experience with these dyeing methods and then they will use their newly designed fabrics to hand sew items such as tote bags, pillows, and cloth napkins, and create fun wall hangings.
